Minami Cherry Blossom and Nanohana Festival
Kawazu cherry blossoms continue along the Aono River in Minamiizu Town. The yellow rapeseed flowers add vibrant color to the pristine riverbank.
The cherry blossoms will be illuminated at night from 18:00 to 21:00!
Hydrangea Festival
Various events will be held in the park during the Shimoda Hydrangea Festival from June 1 to 30. Please enjoy not only strolling while admiring the beautifully blooming colorful hydrangeas, but also the bustling stall market with local Shimoda products.
Tatado Beach
Only a 1-minute walk from Shimoda Yamatokan. Tatado Beach is located just a stone's throw from the ryokan. The beach is rather small, at 450 meters wide and 70 meters deep, but boasts an astonishing transparency and white sand with a water quality test of AA.
